Julio's home is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing getaway. It was very clean inside as well as the surroundings. A cozy little studio apartment with a small fridge, microwave and and a bunk bed ( full size and twin size). The air conditioner worked perfectly. The only inconvenience was the situation regarding not being able to plug in any electrical equipment while using the shower heater. If you use the AC at the same time while showering, it would cause the breaker to go down and a power outage in the room. Julio explained that he was not able to find an electrician before our stay but the issue was going to be addressed immediately. His wife Blanca was very friendly and communicative. She was always available to solve any issues and was always there in case we needed anything. Julio was also very supportive and always answered our text messages and phone calls promptly. Parking was a little bit snug. The road is a dead end and it is very narrow allowing the passage of only 1 vehicle at a time.

Can only describe as a 5 star stay. Location was awesome, place was super clean, easy to find, access and super safe. Would 100% recommend.

It was hard to find but once you get there is a nice place. Room was clean and the host was very helpful and attentive. Though the place had no A/C so it was a bit hot and there was no TV.

The highlight of Mi Casa by 7 is it's quiet, remote location, with a beautiful forest right next door and mango trees in the yard. It's lovely to hear coqui, the native frogs, giving their two-note chirp at night. Julio's place is great for a one or two night stay if you plan to dine elsewhere. The room has a microwave and a refrigerator, but no dishes, stove, or kitchen sink. There are plenty of eating options just 10 minutes away. Although there are several beaches within driving distance, there are no beaches that can be seen from the property.

The house is well built, clean and cozy. the room is great for resting up before adventuring the south west corner of the island. Its a quiet area, and lends itself to do a mini retreat where you can meditate, do yoga and breathe. Nice landscaping.

The wifi downloads at 28-30mbit/sec which is faster than any network ive been on (most are 6-8mb/sec) cellular service is weak in the area.

GPS route will leave you at the fork from which the main road splits. A night its a little tricky but manageable. Its almost a mile in, look out for the correct markers and the dead end road extends past where you think it ends to find the house. Julios instructions were very accurate and helpful.

The address provided is not accurate and is actually a local corner store about a mile away from the location. The instructions to find the house are unclear and confusing with the numbering system on the street and impossible to see after dark. The host was unresponsive throughout the confirmation process, so beware of booking unless you hear back consistently from host. The beach photos are not accurate to the location also. The beach is “near” like a 33 minute walk, but if you have a car maybe 5 minutes. We did not. Walking after dark is unsafe and not well lit, so be aware of that if you venture out on foot.

This lodging is a very quaint and quiet location, perfect for those who want to get a taste of the tropics, yet still keep that rural, off-the-beaten-path feel. It's located in the coastal neighborhood of Joyuda, near many great seafood restaurants, as well as beaches and other attractions.

Julio is a very kind, thoughtful and responsive host, who made us feel very at home and was always insightful.

Since the location is somewhat rural, be sure to contact Julio beforehand, as well as verify (double-check) the address on the listing, as well as your Map application as (in my experience as a native) rural Puerto Rico locations are sometimes difficult for these Map apps; meaning, you'll be placed a Pin nearby, but not at the exact location. And if you're like me, who arrives late at night to check-ins after a night on the town, it may be tedious to locate the residence in dark roads. But all this can be avoided by simply planning beforehand.

Staying at Julio’s was exactly as we expected. The location was so close to the subway and was only a 30 min subway to Times Square and much more. The place was clean and our bedroom had good beds/blankets/and a fan so we slept well. The house was exactly what we needed it to be for our NYE trip and at an awesome price!

My 1st AirbnB and I was truly surprise, the house is warm with rich history, a great backyard to unwind and the Hospitality by the Family is very inviting. I'm from the Bronx, so the area was ideal in getting around. The #1/#2 Bus as well as 2/4/5 trains are blocks away.
Various Restaurants and eateries are close by and also the Mall. I will definitely return again! ;-)

Loved staying here Julio and his wife Blanca were both very friendly. They have a nice backyard that is open to you with lots of plants and an 85 year old oak tree (tallest in the Bronx) with a painted mural so makes you feel your not even in the city at all. It was great getting food from around the corner and eating back there. The room was pretty big for us two with cable tv as restroom right outside the hall. Everything was really clean and organized. We walked to yankee stadium and walked to target which are very close. It's a very safe area I would say we never got bothered. And subway to the city was right around the corner. Highly recommend this place. Julio is a great guy friendly and easy going and gave us some historical background of the neighborhood pretty cool!

Julio's guest house was spectacular and full of charm! Dont let the Bronx "danger" myth keep you from this gem, everyone in the area was so friendly and diverse. It is barely a block away from the subway and walking distance to the Yankee stadium. I truly recommend it!
